The original armature of the original King Kong (from the 1933 film) has sold at a Christie's auction for 121,250 pounds. Why, that's over 60 tons! ;)

These plush Kong dolls were being sold for $4 each at a bargain store near me in Brooklyn. They were so cheaply made I thought it was worth it only to take a couple of pictures.

Here’s a close-up of a really cool King Kong sculpted toy I got in the late 90’s. Kong is the ultimate monkey, and deserves to be listed early in Millions of Monkeys! He stands on a shelf in my studio forever trying to break free.
